What’s your agenda? You know that for every person that leaves California there are three who are waiting in line to come here? You don’t HAVE to live in high priced areas: there are many affordable options: you just need to figure out where your buying power is. Been watching these videos for over a year and the prices still haven't actually gone down. There are now many thousands even perhaps millions of homes you cannot even get insurance for anymore or the insurance costs an arm and a leg and yet the crazy "trickle down" loons won't even budge a dollar on sky high price that isn't anywhere close to what it's actually worth and they all just sit on the so-called "market" scott free forever. I would avoid index funds, mutual funds, and specific stocks for the time being. Right now, the best option is a fixed income of five percent. Put money aside for the times when the market really starts to bounce back.

Not to cry for them. But I worked in the industry 23 years. A foreclosure lawyer fees can reach $6000, plus they pay property taxes, utilities , security and maintenance WHILE they find a buyer, minus selling fees and they MIGHT recuperate the customers balance, and intrest boo hoo

Some 30+ odd yrs ago i started seeing a trend in house sales by the VA - Vetetand Admin. The VA was drowning in VA Foreclosures. So the VA went into the Real Estate Business and started selling off the houses they had receive from Bank Foreclosures. In the hood where i was residing i saw about a dozen VA Homes for sale. That area had a high market value of $53,000. Back then. Most houses were $39,000 to $53,000. BUT.... The VA was selling homes at 125+% above the market value. A $49,950 house was being listed for $89,999. !!! And it was bought up. An intetesting fact: ANY VA LOAN on a house can be automatically Assumed- BY Anyone. So the VA was , it seems getting thousands of foreclosed homes, paying off the banks mortgage, and reselling at a profit- Plus offering VA HOME LOAN Guarentied to anyone. Not just veterans. Now banks are just stealing Homes from veterans and active military at whim.

It's not really a retail apocalypse it's a commercial reality apocalypse. Leased fronts are going to be jacked up on the interest rates so they close and wait a bit to assess factors and possibly close in a new lease under some shell company name (maybe) to get the lower rates for another 5-7years.
